The Bible
• We believe the Bible, from Genesis through Revelation, is the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God, and is man's only reliable foundation to faith and conduct. (ISA 8:20, Tim 3:16)

  One God
• We believe in the One and Only Living God eternally existent in the Eternal Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.  He is the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the Creator of heaven and earth.  (GEN 1:1, ISA  42:5, ISA 48:16, MAT 28:19)

Jesus Christ
• We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His atoning death, His resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His bodily future return to rule in power and glory . (GEN 3:15, ISA 53:1-12, LUK 1:26, 1 THS 4:13-18)

Forgiveness
• We believe the only provision God made for reconciling man to Himself is through the atoning work of Jesus Christ, the Messiah, who shed His blood and died as the atonement for our disobedience.  He resurrected, manifesting victory over sin and death.   (LEV 17:11, ISA 53:1-12, HEB 9:2).

The New Birth
• All who repent from sin and trust in God's salvation in Jesus the Messiah, are born of the Holy Spirit of God.  Trust in the Messiah as the Mediator of the New Covenant makes true children of God.  This one spiritual fellowship includes both Jews and Gentiles as equal members of this body.  (ISA 49:6, JER 31:31-34, EZE 36:24-27, JOH 1:11-13, 1COR 12:12-13, EPH 2:11-18)

Holy Spirit
• We believe the receiving of the Holy Spirit is available to believers who ask for it.  The Holy Spirit brings forth the fruit of righteousness in the life of all followers of Christ. (LUK 11:13, ROM 8:1-4, ROM 12, I COR 12, EPH 4:11-12)

Sanctification
• God's inspired Word provides moral instruction and is profitable for teaching, for reproof, and for correction.  It is a reflection of God's  righteous standard and enables the believer to live a holy life. (DEU 4:8, LUK 1:6, ROM 7:11-16).

Eternal Life
• We believe in the resurrection of the saved to eternal life. (2 THS 1-9, ROM 6:23).

Affiliation Statement
• The Promise Academy neither supports nor endorses the World Council of Churches, National Council of Churches, or any other world, national, or regional organization which gives Christian recognition to unbelievers or advocates multi-faith union.
The Promise Academy was founded in 2010 to meet the alarming need for affordable God-centered education and after school programs.

Research reveals that many families desire a private biblically based environment for their children, and that there are no options for age-appropriate after school programs for middle schoolers.

Middle school children end up being the ‘latch key’ kids we often read about.  They are too old for any type of formal daycare and too young to work or drive.  These are the kids that ‘leave the scene’ for three years and then when they ‘arrive’ at high school, no one knows who they are.  The benefits these children  gain from formal after school programs are far reaching and well documented.

Partnering with parents and investing in their children strengthens them academically, spiritually and socially.  The programs at The Promise Academy encourage and provide support in a safe environment  where students can be somewhat self-directed and participate in supporting educational activities.

This school provides God-centered courses, tutoring and after school programs.  Tha Academy works towards attaining accreditation and cooperates with surrounding schools.  The Promise Academy meets an important  need  and prayerfully supports students and their families.
